The old post office building in the square in Esbjerg forms the setting for a restaurant concept of 2,400 m2, spread across three floors and three types of restaurant. This places great demands on efficiency and overview in everyday life, where a high level of customer service and good food experiences are in focus.

“I’ve been in different parts of the restaurant and activity industry for many years and always used systems from FlexyBox. These are very flexible systems compared to other solutions on the market. FlexyPOS, which I use here at Posthuset, has a wealth of reporting and integration capabilities, which means we do not have to work in three or four different systems. Bookkeeping, shift rosters, newsletters, SMS services, table bookings, take-aways... it’s all in one system, and that’s a huge advantage to us. It is not ’just’ a POS system.

We will soon start using FlexyPOS’ electronic menu, FlexyMenu, which we have tested. We are expecting a lot from it, as we cover as many square metres as we do. It will be a great advantage for the guests to be able to browse through our selection and order when they are ready. Our waiters already use the ordering app, which they operate via iPads. This means that all orders and messages go straight to the kitchen with no delay. In our experience, this has given the waiters a little more time for the customers, because they do not have to run back and forth with messages and changes.

The next thing we are starting is our own FlexyLoyalty app, a customer club with which we can offer our guests special offers, discounts and ticket coupons. That’s one of the things I like about FlexyPOS – it’s a huge system with a lot of features which we can bring into play as the need arises. At the same time, it’s very user-friendly for our staff in their daily work.

Every morning, I receive a fresh report of all the key figures from the previous day, as well as weekly and monthly reports – and so do the managers. This means that we do not have to wait for meetings, but can act swiftly based on brand-new data, and not least, that we can celebrate when our goals are achieved.”
